DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?

The short answer: no, you do not need a doctor's referral to receive any massage therapy treatments.
However, if your insurance plan requires a doctor's referral for claim submissions and we are submitting a claim on your behalf then we will need a copy of a doctor's referral to process your claim.

WHAT CONDITIONS DO YOU TREAT?

We treat a variety of patients with many different conditions. We have therapists who have taken additional training to better understand the effects of massage therapy on MS and Parkinson's patients. We also offer many different treatments for chronic pain, acute injuries, joint stiffness, repetitive strain injuries, sports injuries, pregnancy, etc. with our extended training and knowledge we are confident in treating any condition as long as there are no significant risks associated. WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?

We are currently equipped to bill to the following:
Manitoba BlueCross, Medavie BlueCross, Veteran Affairs, CanadaLife, Manulife Financial, Johnston Group, Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance, GMS-50, ClaimSecure, GroupHEALTH, Maximum Benefit, Sunlife Financial, GreenShield, The Co-operators and Equitable Life.

DO YOU CHARGE FOR CANCELLATIONS OR NO-SHOWS?

Yes. Your scheduled appointment time is reserved just for you.  A fee is applied when you fail to show for a scheduled appointment or when you cancel without sufficient notice. 
Appointments that are not cancelled by 4:00pm the day prior to your scheduled appointment will be subject to a fee of 70% of the missed appointment. (this fee is not able to be billed through your insurance provider).  
As a courtesy we send out appointment reminders via email for all scheduled appointments. If you do not receive the appointment reminder you are still responsible for arriving on time to your scheduled appointment. An email reminder is not guaranteed, nor does lack of one signify a void in the cancellation policy.
